The Role

Shape Adult Social Care for over half a million Londoners

This is an influential, visible role for Adult Social Care across the London Boroughs of Richmond and Wandsworth.

You will be a collaborative corporate team player reporting to the Director of Adult Social Care.

For this role, the ability to manage complexity and relationships across multiple stakeholders will be key. Your relationship building and communication skills will ensure you are trusted across the business to deliver change that achieves the very best outcomes for our residents and future-proof our health and social care services.

You will support and enable our committed social work teams to continue to implement our strengths-based approach where our overall goal is to promote independence, health and well-being.

You will further develop the improvements already made, and whilst your initial focus will be on ensuring the best and most effective service delivery, you will also have the opportunity to expand your experience in developing future strategy and models of delivery e.g. The NHS ten-year plan to bring Social Care into the 21st century.

You will have experience of successful management, service improvement and have a clear understanding of what ‘good’ looks like. You will be a great leader who has a high level of emotional intelligence and absolute determination to retain your focus on delivering desired outcomes.
