Business Support Officer - Edge of Care Team

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Business Support Officer position within the Edge of Care Team.

The team works with young people and families, where the young person is  aged 12-17 years old and either at risk of coming into care or currently in care and the plan is to support the young person to return home. The team also work with young people aged 16/17 who present as homeless to Children’s Services.

You will support the team in the daily functioning of the service, providing a wide range of administrative support whilst ensuring the building is also maintained.

You will be responsible for the finance monitoring and administration for the team, including the issuing and reconciling of the petty cash system and Integra management. You will have excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills and assist the Team Manager with the preparation of statistical data, forecasting and budget management data.

In addition, you will be responsible for the building maintenance, which involves repairs reporting, health and safety checks and risk assessments. You will also have contact with young people aged 16/17 years old, who the team are working with.
