Challenges and Compliance Team Leader

The Role

You will be based in the Parking Service, which is located in the Resources Directorate and will be part of a team reporting directly to the Challenges and Compliance Manager and Head of Parking Compliance.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible member of staff who will be responsible for leading a team in the processing of applications for the Challenges and Compliance Team in accordance with local Policies, Traffic Management Act and other associated legislations. You will manage a team of 5 staff, providing leadership for processing challenges against the issue of Penalty Charge Notices in accordance with the statutory processes.

Ideally you should have experience of leading a team to meet turnaround times and a clear knowledge and understanding of parking legislation as well as customer service, which should be delivered in all forms of contact.

Due to the provision of a telephone service between the hours of 9am and 5pm, working hours are required to suit the service needs.
