Do you have the skills and drive to support and enable a local area to maximise their community potential?
Citizens Advice Wandsworth (CAW) in partnership with Wandsworth Council would like to hear from candidates with strong skills in community capacity building in terms of facilitating, planning, supporting and working with various new and established community groups and organisations as well as engaging with local residents to enable a thriving and vibrant community and voluntary sector in Roehampton.
The Roehampton Community Capacity Project, run by CAW, is an innovative
three-year project to explore a new approach to harnessing and developing the
capacity of local people and communities within the ward of Roehampton and
Putney Heath in the Borough of Wandsworth. Roehampton, as an area, emerged
in the late 1960s with the development of the Alton Estate and since then has
experienced significant demographic and social change.
