Executive Officer

£24,660 - £31,764 per annum inclusive plus 31 days annual leave (pro-rata)

(18 hours per week pro-rated afternoons job share)

A new opportunity has arisen for an Executive Officer to join The Environment and Community Services Directorate (ECS) within Richmond and Wandsworth Shared Services.  ECS is responsible for a diverse remit of services across both boroughs such as parks and open spaces, waste management, highways, engineering and planning.  We need a highly organised Executive Officer who can provide excellent and broad-ranging administration support to our dedicated management team.

You will be joining an established team of Executive Officers delivering the highest standards of customer service across our Richmond and Wandsworth sites.  You will be the all-important first point of contact, resolving queries over the phone, written correspondence and emails from members of the public, elected members (Councillors), Members of Parliament, residents, staff and the Local Government Ombudsman. 

Key skills we are looking for:

  • Solid administrative experience in a customer-facing team
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Flexibility, with a can-do approach to your work
  • Commitment to confidentiality
  • IT Literate

This is a varied role and expectations are that you will work across both Richmond and Wandsworth sites.  You will also be required to take minutes at Cabinet meetings as and when required.
