Required from September 2019

Tooting Primary School opened in September 2013 and was rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in June 2015.

Our professional support and career opportunities are simply exceptional. As part of the Graveney Trust (3 local schools) we utilize the amazing resources and expertise of an outstanding secondary school (5 consecutive Outstanding reports).

We require a Head of Base for pupils with Autism – Generous TLR and SEN point for the right candidate.

We wish to appoint a Head of ASD Base teacher who is passionate about inspiring children to learn and has the skills to do so. In return we will offer an excellent salary package to a suitably experienced candidate.

Our ASD Resource Base is set up to cater for children with a diagnosis of autism.  We currently have 20 children taught in two classes and is extremely well resourced.

To be part of our school you will need to:

• Have experience of working with children with ASD or who have additional learning and behavioural needs
• Be creative, flexible and able to adapt your teaching to respond to individual learners
• Have an understanding children’s stages of development
• Be able to manage a team of adults
• Be committed to continuing professional development

• Be committed to working closely with parents/carers
• Enjoy working with children with additional needs
