Lead Practitioner in Mathematics - Ernest Bevin College

The Role

Ernest Bevin College is seeking an exceptional Lead Practitioner in Maths.

The Lead Practitioner should focus on developing, co-ordinating and monitoring appropriate subject courses which meet the needs of students. In addition s/he should support, challenge, motivate and develop teachers in order to secure improvements in students. We are looking to appoint an outstanding professional with a commitment, enthusiasm and passion for all aspects of school improvement. The appointed candidate will have the vision and drive to improve the quality of education.

Ernest Bevin College is a vibrant school for boys aged 11-19 with a mixed Sixth Form based in SW London. It is a school where the staff are dedicated to giving each and every student the education that opens doors to any path they wish to tread in the future.

We offer elite sport and have fantastic facilities including a swimming pool and a fitness studio which are used by students, staff and the community.

The majority of our students choose to stay at Ernest Bevin post-16 and embark on A Level and BTEC courses. In 2020 our A*-C results at A Level improved by 12% and over 120 students took up places at some of the finest universities in the country. An increasing number of students are also choosing to take up an apprenticeship on completion of their studies.
