Learning Support Assistant - Beatrix Potter Primary School
27.5 hours per week
Term Time Only (38 weeks)
Required from September 2019
We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to support a child with special educational needs. You will also be required to support children in small groups as well as the class teacher in the performance of general duties. You will be enthusiastic in your approach and will seek to provide the opportunities for the child to achieve their full potential, both academically and socially.
You will have a calm, patient disposition and will be able to respond positively to the challenges of working with a pupil with special educational needs. You will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to helping children achieve their potential in a fun and creative environment.
Ideally you will have experience of working with children or young people in a similar environment including experience of supporting children with special educational needs,
