Office Manager

The Role

South West Middlesex Crematorium provides exceptionally high standard of service to the community and has undergone a period of transformation. Due to the current Office Manager’s retirement, The Board is looking for a Office Manager to assist and deputise for the Crematorium Manager to continue to move their vision forward in providing a first-class service to to our bereaved communities, families and visitors.

South West Middlesex is a self- financing organisation and the Board is made up of Members from London Borough of Hounslow; London Borough of Ealing; London Borough of Hillingdon; London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and Spelthorne Borough Council.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated and have knowledge and expertise in all aspects of office management. They will have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and be responsible for managing a dedicated team.

The Board is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and motivational person with:

  • Proven, committed management/supervisory ability
  • Management/team leading experience of working in an organisation/business
  • Experience of financial management.
  • An excellent working knowledge of ICT systems.
  • Excellent organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer care skills
  • Drive and commitment.

The position also incorporates all legislative, Health and Safety, personnel and some site management responsibilities when deputising for the Crematorium Manager.
