Pensions Assistant
The Role
The London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and London Borough of Wandsworth present a unique opportunity to be part of a team who are working together to create a ground-breaking shared staffing structure across both boroughs.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Pensions Shared Service as a Pensions Assistant.
You will be provided with relevant training on an ongoing basis in order to develop and progress. Your duties will include calculating basic pension scheme entitlements and dealing with general queries from members and employers by telephone, email and letter. You should already have pensions experience and be able to demonstrate pensions knowledge.
You will have the opportunity to study towards obtaining the Advanced Diploma in Retirement Provision - a nationally recognised qualification for retirement benefit professionals administered by the Pensions Management Institute (PMI).
Interviews will be on Monday 4 February 2019. Shortlisted applicants may be asked to undertake a 30-minute written test immediately prior to interview.
The appointment is subject to satisfactory references and health clearance.
