Objective of role  

Looking to develop your analytical skills while making a meaningful impact across two leading London councils?

Richmond and Wandsworth Councils’ Adult Social Care and Public Health department are offering a fixed-term opportunity for a Performance Analyst to join the Health and Care Integration Team.                        

Focussing on the health and social care integration agenda, you will need to make sense of lots of data and information to provide quality performance analysis for key programmes and projects in this area. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills in areas such as forecasting, demand and capacity modelling and working with analytical tools such as Power BI.  You will be confident in writing informative analytical reports tailored to a wide and varied audience.

You will be working with a high performing, and supportive, Adults Performance Team; committed to assisting the Adult Social Care and Public Health Directorate to “Deliver the best for residents”. 

In this role you will be required to: 

  • Building reports to evidence the effectiveness of transformation projects within the team
  • Support delivery of integrated services through joint planning with health through the Better Care Fund and the development of neighbourhood health and care.
  • Demonstrate impact of adult social care on hospital discharge demand through regular reporting
  • Evidence impact of Council services such as reablement and the provision of community equipment, working with other Council departments such as housing.
  • Demonstrate curiosity and apply analytical skills when solving problems with performance data. 
  • Extract, collate and summarise information and develop analytical reports and performance dashboards. 
  • Be able to summarise and present information and conclusions in the most appropriate format for a varied audience. 
  • Have an eye for detail, be inquisitive, and be able to tell a story with information. 

You will: 

  • Be a forward-thinking individual with a positive ‘can do’ attitude. 
  • Have excellent communication skills - both written and verbal. 
  • Be highly numerate with skills in analysis, interpretation of complex datasets and report writing. 
  • Have very strong IT skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI). 
  • Be a proactive self-starter with the ability to use your own initiative.
