Receptionist / Administrative Assistant - MAT Cover - Francis Barber Pupil Referral Unit

The Role

Term time only (39 weeks)
Fixed Term Contract - for up to one year to cover Maternity Leave
Line Managed by the Admin Manager and Head of School
Required - as soon as possible or  from 4th March - 20th December 2019 dependent on Maternity leave

We are looking to appoint a friendly and enthusiastic Receptionist for the office at the Francis Barber Pupil Referral Unit in Westdean Close, central Wandsworth. Main duties of the receptionist will include: answering the telephone and relaying messages, greeting pupils and visitors, dealing with the mail and photocopying, preparing letters and maintaining the pupil databases.

Francis Barber provides full-time education for a wide variety of secondary aged pupils who are out of school. Some are awaiting placement at mainstream or special schools. There is a large and experienced staff team working together to maximise pupil progress and achievement.

This post is based at the Westdean site of the PRU in central Wandsworth.

The successful applicant may be required to also work at the Tooting site of Francis Barber in Franciscan Rd.
