Swim School Admin Officer

The Role

Swim School Admin Officer
Part-Time, 18 hours per week
Starting salary £12,112pa.

  • Are you an enthusiastic and self-motivated person with good organisation skills and previous office / administration experience?
     
  • Are you a friendly and confident communicator who enjoys working within a team of staff to provide great customer service?
     
  • Then we need you to assist with the administration of our Swim School programme at our Borough Pools.

Where you’ll be working
You’ll join the teams at the following pools:

  • Pools on the Park, Old Deer Park, Twickenham Road, Richmond TW9 2SF.
     
  • Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre, Vicarage Road, Teddington TW11 8EZ.

What you’ll be doing
Assisting with the administration and development of a comprehensive swim school programme across both Pools on the Park and Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre.

With particular responsibility for supporting with invoicing, club accounts and staff timesheets.

You’ll also be taking bookings and helping with income generation, ensuring a top quality service and high level of customer care is maintained at all times.

What we’ll need from you
Good communication and organisational skills are essential for this role.

You must have the following previous experience to be considered for this role:

  • Working in an office/administration environment
  • Dealing with the public in a customer facing role
  • Handling and reconciling money
  • Using a computerised till

We’re looking for someone who is competent in the use Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook.

You’ll have the ability to prioritise your own work, have a high level of attention to accuracy and detail, and be able to produce reports and maintain record keeping systems.

You’ll be working 18 hours per week, with shifts split over 3 weekdays (6 hours per day). You will be expected work from both Pools on the Park in Richmond and Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre. There is also the opportunity to include some homeworking for certain aspects of the role.
 

What we can offer you: Starting salary £12,112pa.
(Salary progression range is £12,112 to £14,677pa).
