Ernest Bevin College is seeking an energetic and innovative teacher of Maths to join our large and friendly Maths department. The successful candidate will be a committed team player, keen to contribute to the college’s drive for improvement.

Ernest Bevin College is an 11-19 boys’ school with just under 1200 students on roll. We have a mixed sixth form of 300 students based in state of the art buildings close to good transport links.

We are an Elite Sports College competing at national and international level in a range of sports. We have fantastic sports facilities including a swimming pool and fitness studio and they are extensively used by students and staff free of charge. Staff also enjoy social football, yoga and exercise sessions and other social activities.

Over a 100 of our sixth form leavers continue their studies at university with a large proportion (approximately two thirds) choosing to study a STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Maths) subject.

We work with the Royal Marines to provide a Combined Cadet Force (CCF) and the charity Greenhouse Sports to provide further opportunities for our students beyond the school day.
