The Role
Term Time Only (38 weeks)
Required from September 2019
We are seeking to appoint two teaching assistants to work across a range of classes from September 2019 to support the class teacher in the performance of general duties. You will be enthusiastic in your approach and will seek to provide the opportunities for the child to achieve their full potential, both academically and socially.
You will have a calm, patient disposition and will be able to respond positively to the challenges of working with young children. You will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to helping children achieve their potential in a fun and creative environment.
Ideally you will have experience of working with children or young people in a similar environment. These would be an ideal position for someone considering going into teaching as a career.
Beatrix Potter is a well-run community school who supports its staff but equally expects staff to make a difference to the children. You will be working with experienced staff in a well-resourced and professional environment.
