Teaching Assistant X 3 posts
The Role
Term time only plus 4 Inset Days
Required for September 2019
We are looking for three teaching assistants to work throughout KS2 in our friendly, successful and supportive school. You will provide support for groups and individual children and undertake general tasks to assist the teacher. You will be required to work as a member of the school’s SEN team and undertake some lunch time duties and playtime duty. The three teaching assistant roles are all different:
- The first position is to support a boy with learning and behaviour needs
- The second position is to support a boy with specific learning needs.
- The final role is a general teaching assistant role as described in the first paragraph
Applicants can apply for all roles or just a specific one/s (please indicate on your application form)
If you are enthusiastic, energetic and have good literacy, numeracy and in particular, ICT skills we would like to hear from you. Previous experience of working with children is not essential although for roles 1 and 2 some experience of working with SEND pupils would be desirable
For roles 1 and 2 the contracts are event led (i.e. dependent on the pupil/s remaining at Honeywell). Role 3 is a fixed term contract until 31st August 2019 (to be reviewed)
All jobs are ideally suited to those who wish to pursue a career in teaching.
