Administration Officer (Technical)

About Us

We are looking for four enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our area housing teams as Technical Administration Officers.
 
The post holder will efficiently administer the technical aspects in one of our four area housing teams and provide support to a team of three Building Maintenance Inspectors and a Building Maintenance Manager. This will involve assisting with the preparation of void properties for re-letting, responding to formal disrepairs claims, inspecting properties for defects, instructing contractors and overseeing the repairs process. The post holder will deal with enquiries from members of the public and contractors both face to face and via telephone and email.
 
Candidates will require sound administrative, numerical and organisational skills and a good working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and the ability to learn other IT packages such as our housing management database, NEC. Full Training on any organisation specific IT systems will be provided.  
 
The post holder will be required to work as part of a busy team often working in stressful and demanding circumstances whilst retaining a keen eye for detail and the ability to work on their own initiative.
 
The post will offer valuable experience of building maintenance within the area housing teams and there will be the opportunity for career progression and to obtain industry recognised qualifications.
