Scale -3 £15,000 pro rata 

Hours: 16 hours per week -Part-Time  (Working pattern is negotiable to be discussed at interview) but must be spread over 3-5 days)

 About the Role 

You will be liaising with clients, council officers, police officers and members of the public on the phone and via email. Administer the issue of multiple dog walking licences and permits, and the handling of all incidents, emails, reports and enquiries concerning dogs and dog walkers in the parks and open spaces, including paperwork etc. related to the issue of fixed penalty notices and other enforcement actions and the initial handling of dog related calls/contacts.


 Administration Skills: You will be responsible for all administrative tasks associated with the day-to-day functions of the service whilst prioritising a high workload and maintaining records.

 Communication Skills: You will be dealing with members of the public on a day to day basis via face to face communication, emails and telephone it is essential for you to have the ability to. 

 Problem Solving- Initiative and judgement to respond to and deal with problems sensitively as they arise without the need for support are also essential.

.Team Player- It is essential for you to have the ability as well as using your own initiative. 

 Organisation Skills: You will have great attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure, plan and prioritise own workload, manage tasks and meet deadlines. 

IT/Systems- Do you have Proficiency in working with Microsoft packages, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
