We are a co-located team, working closely with professionals from Police, Health, Education, IDVA Services and Housing. Specialists in Substance Misuse, NRPF (No Recourse to Public Funds) and Special Educational Needs are part of our dedicated team, ensuring every child and family receives the tailored support they need.
Every day, Social Workers and Practitioners in Wandsworth make a profound impact on children and families. We understand the challenges, the emotional demands and the complexities of the work and are committed to ensuring you feel supported, empowered and confident in your practice.
That’s why we have our Outstanding Practice Framework, designed to simplify solutions for complex problems. It creates a shared language, understanding and value base that allows us to work creatively with children and their families, ensuring the best possible outcomes for them.
About the role
Social work is a powerful, life-changing profession. The decisions you make, the relationships you build and the trust you earn shape the lives of families every day. We recognise the immense responsibility this carries and ensure you have the right support in place – access to Family and Systemic Psychotherapists, as well as Practice Specialists, who provide consultation and guidance every step of the way.
Working alongside fellow Advanced Practitioners and the MASH Team Manager, you will lead and support practitioners, ensuring that children and young people access the right services at the right time.
You will never feel alone in your practice. Our culture of high support, high challenge ensures continuous learning, professional growth and strong collaboration. We provide specialised training and create spaces to learn from others, helping you refine your decision-making to achieve the best outcomes.
The relationships you build start at MASH, shaping the experience families have when they seek support. Your ability to connect with children and families will be the heart of our service.
