After School Care Playworker 

£10,450 per annum (Scale 2, Scale Point 4)

13.75 hours per week (3.30pm to 6.15pm Monday to Friday)

Term Time Only (38 weeks + 1 INSET day)

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and outstanding playworker to join our happy and successful school with an established reputation within the community.

The role will include supervising the children attending After School Care, ensuring their safety at all times, engaging with them in aspects of play and conversation and setting up activities for them to take part in, as well as contributing to the overall ethos of the provision.  

You will need to be enthusiastic, flexible, reliable, hardworking, willing to have fun and enjoy working with children and be committed to helping children achieve their best.   

You will work in partnership with parents and carers to promote the wellbeing of the children.

You will maintain the safety, welfare and good conduct of the pupils during after school club.

You will be joining a hard working and friendly team and you will be provided with support, guidance and training organised by the After School Care Manager.
