The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic application coordinator / team leader to be the technical expert for application support and management of our Mosaic Social Care systems and related applications.

Working for Richmond and Wandsworth councils, you will report to the Applications Manager within Corporate IT, and you will oversee the technical development and management of Mosaic for both councils and related applications. You’ll be supported by a team of dedicated and hard-working application specialists who you will have the chance to shape and develop.

This is your chance to play a key technical role in the ongoing system development and improvement of Mosaic and make an important contribution to several ongoing projects being undertaken by the adults and children’s departments.

You will be a motivated individual looking to make the next step in your IT career with a proven track record of development and administration using the Mosaic Social Care system, and you will have the technical development skills to achieve this using SQL (SQL Server and/or Oracle) and scripting (for example JavaScript) to develop forms and workflows.

You’ll also have experience leading a technical team and proven project management experience (for example: Prince2).

In return, we can offer you working arrangements that will enhance your work-life balance.  These include, flexible working and home working (dependent on service need), access to the modern technology (Windows10 and Office365) and a generous holiday allowance of 31 days plus bank holidays.

We also offer a range of staff benefits such as membership of the Local Government contributory pension scheme, childcare vouchers, new technology scheme, interest-free loans on annual travel cards, discounts at many leisure activities, restaurants, shops, and other establishments. Also, we provide technical training and development opportunities within Corporate IT.
