About Us
We are hiring! We are looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking, problem-solving team member to join the successful Programme Management Office, which is responsible for delivering a wide range of capital projects in schools, residential and commercial properties and corporate buildings across the London Boroughs of Richmond upon Thames and Wandsworth.
You will be assisting with the delivery of capital projects across the Richmond upon Thames and Wandsworth Councils and provide support and assistance to Senior Project Managers and the Programme Manager undertaking all necessary duties to assist with the successful delivery of projects and programmes.
The role will require travelling and attending various sites as necessary across Richmond and Wandsworth.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Supporting the Programme Manager and Project Managers in the delivery of the capital programmes and projects
- Support the Programme Management Office with a number of typical project management functions; change management, coordination of the design process, help to oversee and manage the control of the project both pre and post contract and manage financial expenditure throughout any appropriate RIBA stages.
- Assist the Programme Management Office and participate in risk, value and opportunities management, including supporting the facilitation of workshops, meetings and gateway reviews attended by the client, stakeholders, projects team and contractors.
- Assist the Programme Management Office to prepare and issue reports, including, but not limited to project execution plans, strategy reports, risk registers, progress reports and Council reports.
- Responsible for the delivery of minor projects (under supervision).
- Contribute to the overall procurement methodology of the capital programmes and projects.
- Payment of monthly consultant and contract invoices based upon performance and programme.
- Support the contract administration under NEC3, ACA and JCT contract conditions.
- Contribute to the operation of the Programme Management Office function and support improvements to the project management processes.
