Job Title: Trainee Auditor
Salary Range: £30,510 - £42,888 (dependent on qualifications, skills and experience)
Permanent – Fulltime (36 Hours)
Location: Wandsworth Town Hall
Join our internal audit team at The Southwest London Audit Partnership. We're seeking a motivated graduate (or equivalent) interested in public sector auditing, but applicants with other relevant experience are welcome. You will be eager to learn, willing to study for an Internal Auditor qualification, and have an interest in supporting the work of local government.
Role Overview
- You will learn about internal audit, risk, and assurance.
- You will be assisting on audits across Council Directorates and service areas.
- Attend meetings with clients and help plan and complete work within deadlines.
- Prepare clear reports documenting findings and recommendations.
Requirements
- You will be able to use standard IT packages (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook).
- You will demonstrate attention to detail and strong time-management skills to plan and organise your work to agreed deadlines.
- You will be curious and a demonstrate that you can use your initiative and are keen to learn.
- You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- You will be a team player that actively contributes to the team and be able to demonstrate flexibility.
- You will demonstrate integrity and professionalism and flexibility
