Auditor
The Role
Are you looking for your next job?
We are the Southwest London Audit Partnership, one of the largest local authority shared audit services, in the UK. A vacancy has become available for an experienced Internal Auditor, to work in an audit environment that encourages development and provides a range of opportunities.
You must have experience in internal audit or have transferrable skills including organising and delivering an individual workplan within set timescales. You will be expected to deliver a high quality and responsive service wherever you are based, as well as have the ability to adapt to sometimes differing processes and expectations.
As a service with an increasingly agile workforce, we support flexible working arrangements, working remotely, compressed or part-time hours, term time only, job shares and other arrangements. Agile working helps put the needs of our staff at the centre of everything we do, so if specific flexible working arrangements helps you with this, feel free to let us know. We offer a generous holiday allowance of 40 paid days (pro rata) including bank holidays.
The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years Internal Auditing experience and ideally working towards a CCAB body or equivalent (e.g. AAT, IIA, ACCA, CIPFA) or equivalent professional qualification. Appointment on the salary scale will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
In addition, we offer a range of staff benefits such as membership of the Local Government contributory pension scheme, childcare vouchers, new technology scheme, interest-free loans on annual travel cards, discounts at many leisure activities, restaurants, shops and other establishments. A wide range of developmental opportunities is also offered.
