If you are an experienced Business Analyst who has a proven track record of high quality, user-centred process design, inclusive implementation and continuous improvement, with a good understanding of local government policy development and services, then we want to hear from you. 

Working as part of a small, friendly team, you will lead on delivering a variety of high-profile projects, working across Council Directorates, and contributing to the wider corporate Change Programme. 

About you

We’re looking for someone capable of building effective relationships with key stakeholders, able to solve complex problems and manage competing priorities, all in a fast-paced environment.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

1.Facilitate workshops and interviews with key stakeholders to gather business requirements, identifying areas for service improvement. 

2.Lead multi-disciplinary business research initiatives, to map end-to-end business processes, conduct data modelling and identify known frictions and pain points. 

3.Design ‘to be’ workflows and processes, ensuring design is user-centred, accessible, and continually refined.

4.Provide strong support throughout project implementation, ensuring services are intuitive, inclusive and effectively communicated. 

Lead and facilitate effective change management processes, advising managers using performance review and improvement measures to ensure high quality capture return on investment. 

This is a 24 month fixed term contract.
