Business Support Officer - Fostering Panel
The Role
Do you have experience of taking accurate minutes in support of a panel and of working in a busy social care environment?
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Business Support Officer to work with our Fostering Panel in Children’s Services, Wandsworth. The Panel is the forum where prospective foster carers are approved at the end of the assessment process.
You will be working within the wider Fostering Business Support Group with primary responsibility for the Fostering Panel Administration, working to the Fostering Team Manager and liaising with the Panel Chair and Members.
The Business Support Officer (Fostering Panel) is necessary for the efficient delivery of Panel, ensuring that everything necessary is coordinated in advance, runs smoothly on the day, and follow-up actions and reports happen as required. The expectation is that there will be at least 2 Panels per month.
We are looking for someone with good levels of literacy and numeracy and who has experience of providing office administration support to a large diverse team of staff and who has experience of using social care recording systems.
