Business Support Officer Fostering
The Role
Do you have experience of working in a busy social care environment and have experience of Microsoft Office?
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Business Support Officer to work with our Fostering Business Support Group in Children’s Services.
You will have primary responsibility of leading on the coordination of the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks across the service, as well as providing general administrative support to Supervising Social Workers in the Fostering Team.
You will also take action Minute taking across Children Looked After as directed by the Principal Business Support Officer and carry out financial administration for the team. You will also be responsible for the coordination of transport for children and young people in internal foster placement.
We are looking for someone with good levels of literacy and numeracy and who has experience of providing office administration support to a large diverse team of staff and who has experience of using social care recording systems.
