The Business Support service’s vision is a simple one: ‘to implement a robust, flexible and resilient business support service across Children’s Services’.
Three exciting opportunities have arisen in the Children’s Services Business Support service for Business Support Officers to work in our Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (Front Door) and Children Looked After services.
For these roles, attention to detail is crucial as is the ability to produce high quality minutes of meetings. These services work with families that are in acute crisis, so emotions often run high. These are fast-paced services working within tight timescales and are not for the faint hearted. If you thrive on a challenge, then one of these could be the role for you!
Whilst primarily supporting a particular service you will also be a team player in the wider Business Support service, as we require all Business Support Officers to have a flexible approach in supporting other areas and at times may even be required to work elsewhere across the directorate. The roles report to a Principal Business Support officer, in each service, who manage the service area within Children’s Services. They will ensure that you get all the support, training and development you need to be able to successfully undertake your role.
