Business Support Officer - Safeguarding Service

The Role

You will be an experienced team administrator who can provide a comprehensive administrative support service for the Service including the servicing of Child Protection Conferences, Children Looked After Reviews, Secure Panel Reviews and Strategy meetings. The holder may occasionally be required to travel outside of the Borough.

The Children's Planning and Review Team has been reviewed and re-structured to enable staff to specialise in Child Protection Conferences or as IROs for children looked after, on this basis one of the team administrator post will be dedicated to supporting the IRO service.

As a Team Administrator you will work closely with frontline teams, partner agencies, CP chairs and IRO colleagues to ensure the safeguarding and planning for children is of the highest standard. You  will used to be working in a team environment , highly organised and be able to work on your own initiative .  Experience of taking minute for complex meetings and inputting/retrieving data including collection of statistical information is essential as is the ability to comply with current data protection requirements.
