Business Support Officers Front-door & Referral and Assessment team

The Role

We are looking to recruit two enthusiastic and motivated Business Support Officers to join our front door team (Initial Point of Contact), and the Referral and Assessment Team in Children’s Services.

You will have existing or previous experience of working for a support team in a children's social care environment at the Front Door.

Referral and Assessment Team Support

You will work within one of the Assessment Teams, and will be responsible for ensuring support for the social workers to carry out their statutory duties.

The main areas of work are information and referral; allocation and closures; finance; initial health assessment; performance management and data and reporting.

This is a challenging post in a fast-moving service. We are looking for someone who can support the team’s needs in this busy area.

Front Door Contact and Enquiries

You will be working in our fast-paced front door team, covering contacts in relation to safeguarding children and young people and taking general enquiries as part of the triage process.

The role will include covering telephones; taking calls; monitoring mailboxes and passing on information quickly and succinctly.
