Where you’ll be working
You’ll join the team at Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre, Vicarage Road, Teddington TW11 8EZ. Facilities here include main and learner pools, hydrotherapy pool, fitness suite, cycle studio and gym. The centre is open daily from 6.30am to 10pm.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll be part of our management team supporting all departments (Pools, Fitness, Sales and Reception etc.) to ensure that the Centre runs smoothly. Making sure that all of the facilities are clean, safe and staffed, so that every customer has a great experience when they visit or contact us, will be a priority for you.

What we’ll need from you
You’ll need to be able to manage and supervise staff, have previous experience of working in a leisure / sporting or fitness environment and have a sporting / recreation or management qualification.

The following qualifications are ESSENTIAL for this role. Applicants who do not hold these qualifications will not be shortlisted:
- National Pool Lifeguard qualification
- Pool Plan Operator qualification
- Pool Plan Operator qualification
A First Aid qualification is also desirable, but not essential.
Strong financial, admin and customer service skills are essential for this role. You’ll also need a good knowledge of Health & Safety issues and an understanding of Diversity and Equality in employment and provision of service.

What we can offer you
£15.04 per hour (plus 12.07% holiday relief pay allowance on top of this hourly rate).
We’ll offer you casual shifts covering daytime or evenings, that may be both during the week and at weekends. Any shifts offered would be by mutual agreement, so you can always fit in work around your other commitments.
