Casual Fitness Instructors (Whitton or East Sheen)

Where you’ll be working
We currently have a vacancies at the following centres:

  • Shene Sports & Fitness Centre, SW14 8AT
  • Whitton Sports & Fitness Centre, TW2 6JW

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be part of our fitness team, providing professional and friendly tuition, carrying out inductions and designing personalised fitness programmes.

Making sure that all fitness suite users are kept in a safe and secure environment, delivering great customer service and ensuring the facilities are clean and safe so that every customer has a great experience.

You will also be responsible for maintenance / cleanliness procedures within the gym.

What we’ll need from you

We ask that you have a relevant fitness qualification for this role. A first aid qualification and some experience.

You’ll also have knowledge and experience of fitness testing, inductions and designing personalised exercise programmes.  Good customer care, financial, administrative, marketing and programming skills are essential. 

A key element of your job will be to develop the business as well as retaining existing customers. 

You’ll also need a good knowledge of Health & Safety issues and an understanding of Diversity and Equality in employment and provision of service. 

What we can offer you

£10.20 per hour (plus holiday pay allowance on top of this)

We’ll offer you casual shifts which might involve working daytime or evenings, this could be during the week and at weekends (depending on individual Centre opening hours).  Any shifts offered would be by mutual agreement, so you can always fit the work in around your other commitments.

We also offer membership of the Local Government contributory pension scheme.
