The Role

Casual Leisure Assistants (Lifeguards), Teddington

Where you’ll be working
You'll join our team at Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre (TW11 8EZ). Facilities here include main and learner pools, fitness suite, spin studio, exercise studio and hydrotherapy pool. The Centre is open to the public 7 days a week from 6.30am to 10pm.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll join our lifeguarding team, providing a professional and friendly approach to pool safety.

Making sure that all customers are kept in a safe and secure environment, delivering great customer service and ensuring the facilities are clean, safe and staffed, so that every customer has a great experience.

What we’ll need from you
We ask that you hold a valid National Pool Lifeguard qualification for this role. A first aid qualification and some experience would also be very desirable. Good communication and organisational skills are essential for this role. 

You’ll also need a good knowledge of Health & Safety issues and an understanding of Diversity and Equality in employment and provision of service.

What we can offer you
£10.55 per hour
(plus holiday pay allowance on top of this)

We’ll offer you casual shifts which may involve working a mixture of weekdays, weekends and evenings. Any shifts offered would be by mutual agreement, so you can fit work in around your other commitments.

We also offer membership of the Local Government contributory pension scheme.
