Casual Receptionist (Pools), Teddington or Richmond

Where you’ll be working

We have vacancies at both Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre and Pools on the Park in Richmond.

  • Facilities at Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre include a main pool, learner pool, fitness suite, spin studio, exercise studio and hydrotherapy pool.  Full programme information online at www.richmond.gov.uk/tpfc

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be part of our front of house team, providing professional and friendly assistance with bookings / enquiries and welcoming visitors in person to the centre.

Taking bookings and payments using our computerised till system.

Delivering a high customer service and ensuring that every customer has a great experience will be your priority.

What we’ll need from you

You’ll have good communication and organisation skills, along with the ability to use a computerised till.  Previous experience of working in an office / public service environment (paid or unpaid) is also desirable.

What we can offer you

£10.20 per hour (plus holiday relief pay allowance on top of hourly rate).

Our Centres are open 7 days a week and shifts are likely to include a mixture of early morning, daytime and evenings. Any shifts offered would be by mutual agreement, so you can always fit work in around your other commitments.

We also offer membership of the Local Government contributory pension scheme.
