Casual Sport and Leisure Opportunities

The Role

We are looking for passionate, dedicated people who, like us, are determined to make real, positive change to people who visit our sports centres to take part in a wide range of sports and fitness activities.

Current opportunities within our Sports and Fitness Centres:

Swimming Instructors
£17.00 per hour plus holiday enhancement

(based at Pools on the Park – TW9 2SF or Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre – TW11 8EZ)

Our Swimming Instructors help people learn to swim, improve their swimming skills and gain confidence in the water. You'll need to have teaching qualifications awarded by Swim England (ASA) or the Swimming Teachers' Association (STA). A first aid qualification and some experience would be desirable.

Receptionists
£10.55 per hour plus holiday enhancement

(based at Pools on the Park – TW9 2SF)

Our Receptionists deal with all enquiries and bookings at the front desk.  No qualification needed – just a friendly and approachable person!

Leisure Assistant (Lifeguards based at swimming pool sites)
£10.55 per hour plus holiday enhancement

(based at Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre – TW11 8EZ)

Our Lifeguards look after all our swimming pools, help swimmers to stay safe and carry out rescues in emergencies. You’ll need to have completed the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).

Whether you're a Swimming Instructor. Receptionist or Leisure Assistant or working anywhere in our sports centres, you'll need:

  • Great customer service skills and be able to work well under pressure.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • An ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Relevant qualifications
