An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, enthusiastic and highly effective teacher to join Roehampton Church Forest School as a Class Teacher with subject leadership responsibilities.
Applications from ECT’s are welcome
Roehampton Church Forest School is a small, one-form entry primary school with a proud history of serving the local community since 1828. Situated in the heart of Roehampton, next to Putney Heath and close to Richmond Park, our school offers a nurturing, inclusive and ambitious learning environment in which every child is encouraged to flourish.
Our ethos is firmly rooted in our Christian distinctiveness, with Christian values and morals at the heart of school life. We are proud of the strong relationships we build with our pupils, families, staff, governors, the church and the wider community. The school is ideally located and benefits from excellent public transport links.
We are seeking to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner who is passionate about teaching and learning, committed to raising standards and able to inspire and motivate children. The successful candidate will have high expectations of all pupils, secure curriculum knowledge and the ability to create an engaging and purposeful classroom environment.
This role would suit a reflective, creative and committed teacher who is ready to contribute fully to school life and take responsibility for leading a curriculum subject. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues to develop high-quality provision, support curriculum improvement and contribute to the continued development of teaching and learning across the school.
Applicants must hold QTS and have experience of working with primary-aged children. They should be able to demonstrate strong classroom practice, a commitment to pupil progress, and the ability to work in partnership with the whole school community, including our church community.
