Class Teachers - Quality First Education Trust

Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

About Us

September 2024

The Quality First Education (Q1E) Trust is seeking excellent class teachers at its four primary schools in south London: Belleville Primary School and Belleville Wix Academy in Battersea, The Alton School in Roehampton and Churchfields Primary School in Beckenham.

Our schools offer a high quality, well-resourced and carefully structured provision, within an excellent broad and balanced curriculum. Children achieve very well, and behaviour is excellent. We strive to meet the needs of all children – doing ‘Whatever It Takes’ to help children fulfil their potential.

We provide excellent opportunities for class teachers, with outstanding professional development and support from the outset. We ensure our teachers have the resources they need to do an excellent job, including a high-quality curriculum with well-planned units and lessons that have been judged “outstanding” by Ofsted.

If you are new to teaching, you will be supported every step of the way. We are very proud of the support we provide for Early Career Teachers, starting with a paid three-week Q1E pre-induction programme in July. For more experienced teachers, we ensure excellent development for all, no matter how far along you are in your career.

Our four schools have many differences, but they are united in having fantastic staff teams, a shared high-quality curriculum, and consistent Q1E systems and structures to support them. If you share our relentless drive for improvement, excellence and equality, we hope you will consider applying to join us.

Ofsted say:

Pupils thrive. They speak with enthusiasm about the rich curriculum they learn. Pupils behave very well and engage positively with their learning.

Staff are proud to work here. They receive extensive professional development. They feel their workload is well managed by leaders, who welcome their input.

An Application Form, Job Description and Person Specification can be downloaded below.

Please read the Job Description and Person Specification provided.

Email your completed Q1E Application Form and Equal Opportunities Form to recruitment@q1e.org.uk. Please title your email “Q1E Teachers”.

Closing date: Across the trust, we keep recruitment open until positions are filled. However, we encourage an early response, as we review applications as they come in.  Our next round of shortlisting will take place on 18th-19th March 2024.

Note on Safeguarding:

The trust and its schools are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
