Curriculum Coordinator, Pathways (Complex Needs Department) - Francis Barber PRU

The Role

This teaching post is based primarily at the Westdean site of the PRU in central Wandsworth.

The post is initially for one year as it is a fund related post

Line Managed by Pathways Coordinator

An exciting and impactful opportunity has arisen to shape the development of our new curriculum of our 1:1 provision for 7 pupils with complex special needs such as SEMH &Autism. We are looking to appoint an experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic curriculum co-ordinator for our Pathways Programme

The Pathways Programme provides a very bespoke education for a wide variety of secondary aged pupils all of whom have a statement of SEN for complex needs, usually a combination of BESD, MLD and ASD.

Whilst the main focus of the curriculum offered is English, Maths, and PSHCE other curriculum areas are included for pupils as appropriate, flexibility and creativity are key.

Francis Barber is a great place to work with a friendly staff team and fantastic transport links and shops and banks nearby. The school is very mindful of supporting staff wellbeing and there are many opportunities for CPD.
