Ashcroft Technology Academy is an ‘outstanding’ Academy situated in South West London.  At the Academy, everyone feels valued, and success is celebrated together. Our students achieve excellent examination results at both GCSE and at Key Stage 5.

We are seeking to appoint a new day cleaner to join our effective and dedicated building services and cleaning staff team. The Academy places great importance on the appearance and cleanliness of both the grounds and the buildings and the successful candidate is expected to share this view. 

As one of the three cleaning staff that operate throughout the school day, you will have the responsibility to ensure that the Academy is kept in a clean and tidy manner and that the appropriate cleaning materials are used for the purposes intended. You will work closely with the other cleaners but will have specific, detailed personal responsibilities which you will be informed of. Tasks will include but are not limited to, cleaning toilets and communal areas, litter picking, serving refreshments to staff and emptying bins. A background in general cleaning services is desirable, more importantly we are seeking a motivated, committed individual to complement the existing team. As this post involves working with children from 11 to 19 years of age, it is subject to enhanced disclosure checks. 

The Academy is judged to be an Outstanding school (Ofsted 2021); is heavily oversubscribed for places; achieves excellent examination results and maintains high standards of student behaviour.
