We are an inclusive, large 3 – 4 form school in the heart of a diverse and vibrant multi-ethnic community. We are located in Tooting, South West London, very close to both Tooting Broadway and Tooting Bec stations. We are extremely proud of our school with it’s fantastic location and amazing school site with strong links to our Community.
We are looking to appoint an exceptional non – class based Deputy Head Teacher who will be at the heart of our lovely school, working alongside an experienced and driven and very supportive Senior Leadership term who care about staff well-being and have a commitment to a healthy work life balance.
You will be the lead on Curriculum and Assessment across the whole school as well as leading a phase (YR 5 & 6) and supporting our Heads of Year and teaching teams. You will also be instrumental in supporting the day to day running of our school.
You will need to: -
• Be an exemplary teacher
• Have a proven record of strong management and leadership skills, particularly in relation to Curriculum and Assessment
• Have a passion for children’s learning and development
• Be able to accept challenges, inspire and motivate others
• Have a desire to achieve and raise standards
• Be a committed team member
• Have the ability to engage the whole school community
• Be prepared to bring fresh perspectives to new education initiatives
