Our highly successful Social Science department is seeking to appoint a Deputy Head of Department. The postholder would teach both Psychology and Sociology A-level, and would act as subject leader for Sociology. Both subjects are very popular in our school, and we are proud of our superb academic results. Many of our students progress to pursue Social Science related degrees in higher education.

This role would suit an enthusiastic teacher with excellent subject knowledge, who wishes to join an established and well-resourced department. Teamwork is an integral feature of our work. We would like to appoint a teacher who is organised, innovative in their teaching, and committed to collaboration.

This position would suit an experienced practitioner and is not open to ECTs.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an inspiring subject teacher to work in a supportive and energetic team. The successful candidate will need to have excellent subject knowledge, be an outstanding teacher who is keen to develop their practice and bring continued success to our students.
