Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and Attendance Officer - Southmead Primary School
The Role
Permanent Full Time:
Term Time only plus 2 weeks
36 hours per week (8am-4pm)
Southmead is a happy and successful primary school. You will work alongside the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to the safety of our children; you will have excellent interpersonal management and communication skills and will be responsible for being the first point of contact for safeguarding within school, organising and maintaining safeguarding training throughout the school; liaising with external organisations and children’s social care, attending and providing reports for CP/CIN and the governing body.
To be part of our vibrant, multicultural and happy school, you MUST have:
- Excellent written communication skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Knowledge of the relevant safeguarding documents and their application in school
- Experience of working in schools or social care
