Where you’ll be working:
You’ll be based at Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre, TW11 8EZ. Facilities here include indoor main and learner pools, hydrotherapy pool, fitness suite, spin studio and studio space. 
 
The Centre is open 7 days a week from 6.30am to 10pm.
 
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be part of our management team overseeing the day to day operation of the Centre, so that it runs smoothly.  Making sure that all of the facilities are clean, safe and staffed, so that every customer has a great experience when they visit or contact us, will be a priority for you.
 
With particular responsibility for managing sales, you’ll be providing professional and friendly assistance with membership tours / enquiries and welcoming visitors in person to the centre. 
 
You’ll also be involved in the day to day plant operation, including topping up etc. with chemicals, backwashing and other associated duties, including water tests.
 
The working pattern for this post involves working a 36 hour shift rota, which will include a mix of early mornings, daytime and evening shifts, both during the week and at weekends.

What we’ll need from you:
We’re looking for someone with previous experience of working in a health and fitness environment or relevant sales experience.  A good understanding of sales and the sales process and some pool plant experience.
 
You’ll also need the following:
  • A sports/fitness/recreation/management or sales qualification (essential).
  • A National Pool Lifeguard qualification (highly desirable*).
  • First Aid qualification (highly desirable*).
  • A National Pool Plant Operator qualification (highly desirable*).
* if not currently held, will need to be obtained within first 6 months of starting role.

With a salary progression range of £26,224 to £31,778pa for this Scale 5 role.
