The Role

Required from January 2020

Smallwood Primary school has a Language Resource Base, conveniently situated close to Earlsfield mainline station and Tooting Broadway underground. We are a school moving forward with purpose to improve the quality of teaching and learning with a commitment to raising standards.

We are seeking to appoint a full time permanent class teacher to join our friendly and dedicated team. Applications are invited from teachers with knowledge and skills in EYFS or KS2.

The year group will be confirmed following appointment and will be based on the expertise and experience of the successful candidate

We are looking for a teacher that is:

• inspirational and highly effective in the classroom;
• passionate about enabling every child to fulfill their potential;
• able to contribute to, and work, as part of a team
• creative in their approach to children's learning

All shortlisted candidates will be observed teaching.

The candidates will be positive and enthusiastic in their approach and will seek to provide the opportunity for the children they are working with to achieve their full potential, both academically and socially.

This is an exciting time to join Smallwood’s team as there are opportunities for forward thinking, passionate individuals to play a significant part in further developing our school.
