Job Title: Estate Manager

Salary Range: £38,133 - £46,206 per annum

Permanent Fulltime

Location: Wandsworth

Are you looking for your next opportunity in Estate management. this is the prefect role for you as a Estate Manager, this post in one of the busy Area Housing Teams, located in the Department of Housing and Regeneration. You will be responsible to manage on more complex leasehold, tenancy and anti-social behaviour cases.

As the front-line manager of up to 900 properties, you will be the main point of contact between your residents and the council. You will need to demonstrate excellent organisational skills, be able to prioritise a heavy workload and develop constructive relationships with residents, colleagues and outside agencies.

As part of a supportive team, you will help to provide a range of housing management services including repairs and maintenance, tenancy and leasehold management and anti-social behaviour.

About the role 

This is a varied and challenging role which requires a significant amount of contact with members of the public and partnering agencies.

You will be required to undertake home visits and will cultivate skills including developing positive relationships, understanding housing legislation and learning about a variety of housing management functions.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience

An understanding of the skills involved in dealing with people in difficult situations.

You need to be able to write letters and reports on a wide range of issues.

You must be able to attend meetings and emergency situations outside of office hours.

Have the ability to organise your workload and meet deadlines.
