Salary Range: £40,737 - £49,365 per annum
Permanent - Fulltime (36hours)
Location: 2nd floor, Disraeli House, 90 Putney Bridge Road, SW18 1HR or Roehampton Parish Hall, Alton Road, SW15 4LG
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the area housing teams.
As part of a supportive team, you will help to provide a range of housing management services including repairs and maintenance, tenancy and leasehold management and anti-social behaviour.
This is a varied and challenging role which requires a significant amount of contact with members of the public and partnering agencies.
You will be required to undertake home visits and will cultivate skills including developing positive relationships, understanding housing legislation and learning about a variety of housing management functions.
You do not need direct experience of estate management but should have experience of dealing with the public, an interest in social housing and the ability to work within a busy team. As the front-line manager of up to 900 properties, you will be the main point of contact between your residents and the council. You will need to demonstrate excellent organisational skills, be able to prioritise a heavy workload and develop constructive relationships with residents, colleagues and outside agencies.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- An understanding of the skills involved in dealing with people in difficult situations.
- You need to be able to write letters and reports on a wide range of issues.
- You must be able to attend meetings and emergency situations outside of office hours.
- Have the ability to organise your workload and meet deadlines.
