The Role

Executive Assistant

Salary: £28,297- £34,986 per annum

Location: Twickenham and Wandsworth offices

An Executive Assistant (EA) position has become available within the Executive Support Hub in the Department of Adult Social Care & Public Health (DASC & PH). This hub supports the Director and her Senior Management Team (SMT) across Richmond and Wandsworth Councils.

The role reports to the Senior EA Officer of the EA Hub and is a team role within the hub providing support to a number of Assistant Directors and the Director within DASC & PH and across two sites.

In this varied and challenging role you  will work closely with officers at all levels across the Council, with elected Members, partner organisations and the public.

Handling a wide range of duties you should be proactive and able to work accurately to agreed timescales in a fast-paced environment, to support the EA Hub with all EA duties, including extensive diary management, supporting Board meetings, (intercepting calls) and dealing with highly confidential matters.

You should have excellent written skills, minute-taking skills and an ability to make effective use of ICT and have recent experience of working at director level or above. 

A team player is absolutely essential, as we work together as a team across both sites to provide an effective service to SMT.
