Term time only (39 weeks)

This post is based at the Tooting site of Francis Barber PRU.

The successful applicant may be required to also work at the Westdean site of Francis Barber in central Wandsworth.

This is a permanent post subject to a probationary period.

Line Managed by the School Business Manager.

We are looking to appoint a friendly and enthusiastic part-time Finance Administrator for the office at the Francis Barber Pupil Referral Unit in Franciscan Road. Main duties of the role will include: inputting data for invoices and orders, petty cash, supporting the Exams Officer and general administrative and reception duties.  Training will be given to carry out First Aid.

The post is 21 hours per week and there is some flexibility in the working pattern.  Ideally applicants would work from 8am though this is not essential.

Francis Barber provides full-time education for a wide variety of secondary aged pupils who are out of school. Some are awaiting placement at mainstream or special schools. There is a large and experienced staff team working together to maximise pupil progress and achievement.  Francis Barber is a very friendly place to work and was rated by OFSTED as good with outstanding behaviour.
