Food Technician - Oak Lodge School

The Role

 

Food Technician (with BSL Level 2 minimum or a willingness to learn)

£21,830 - £23,031 per annum (depending on qualifications & experience)

working 36 hours per week

Term time plus 2 weeks (41 weeks per academic year)

1 year contract initially

Oak Lodge School is a secondary school for students with hearing, speech and language and communication needs with a residential provision. Oak Lodge follows a student-centred multi-modal approach to communication. We are looking for someone who:

  • is willing to commit to the whole school ethos and contribute to the whole school community. 
  • Has two years’ experience relevant to the position;
  • Can carry out all aspects of the role to a high standard;
  • Has the ability to work effectively in a team;
  • Can demonstrate their ability to work using their initiative;
  • Is able to work effectively to deadlines and produce high-quality results;
  • Demonstrates excellent organisational and planning skills.

Applicants must have English & Maths qualifications and experience working in an educational environment.
