Functional Skills Lead - Oak Lodge School

The Role

Teachers Pay Scale + SEN 1

depending on qualifications and experience

(not suitable for ECT teachers)

Oak Lodge School is a mixed secondary school for students with hearing, speech and language and communication needs with a residential provision.  We would like to welcome you to become part of our vibrant and innovative learning community, to have the opportunity to work in our happy and harmonious school which promotes the highest standards and is at the forefront of special education. We are an inclusive school where every student and member of staff is valued highly.

We are looking for a full-time experienced Functional Skills teacher to lead in developing and implementing the Functional Skills Curriculum. To meet the standards required by the appropriate Accreditation board and to ensure that as far as possible, the students academic, communication, social, emotional, behavioural, physical and sensory needs are met.
